Prof. Zhiwu Li

Xidian University, China

Zhiwu Li received the B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, the M.S. degree in Automatic Control, and the Ph.D. degree in Manufacturing Engineering, all from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 1989, 1992, and 1995, respectively. He has published two monographs in Springer (2009) and CRC Press (2013) and 150+ publications in Automatica and IEEE Transactions. His research was cited by 300+ academic and industrial institutes over 50+ countries, including IBM, HP, ABB, Volvo, GE, GM, and Huawei. His current research interests include Petri net theory and application, supervisory control of discrete event systems, workflow analysis, system reconfiguration, game theory, production scheduling and planning, and data and process mining. He is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in the World, 27th edition, 2010. He is a Fellow of IEEE (2016).

Prof. Haibin Zhu

Nipissing University, Canada

Dr. Haibin Zhu is a Full Professor and the Coordinator of the Computer Science Program, the Founding Director of the Collaborative Systems Laboratory, a member of the University Budget Plan committee, Arts and Science Executive Committee, and the Research Committee, Nipissing University, Canada. He is also an affiliate professor of Concordia Univ. and an adjunct professor of Laurentian Univ., Canada. He has accomplished (published or in press) over 200 research works including 30+ IEEE Transactions articles, six books, five book chapters, four journal issues, and four conference proceedings. He is a fellow of I2CICC, a senior member of ACM, a senior member of IEEE, a full member of Sigma Xi, and a life member of CAST-USA. He is the founding researcher of Role-Based Collaboration and Adaptive Collaboration and the creator of the E-CARGO model. He is the receipt of the meritorious service award from IEEE SMC Society (2018), the chancellor’s award for excellence in research (2011) and two research achievement awards from Nipissing University (2006, 2012), the IBM Eclipse Innovation Grant Awards (2004, 2005), the Best Paper Award from the 11th ISPE Int’l Conf. on Concurrent Engineering (ISPE/CE2004), the Educator’s Fellowship of OOPSLA’03, a 2nd class National Award for Education Achievement (1997), and three 1st Class Ministerial Research Achievement Awards from China (1997, 1994, and 1991). 

Prof. Yulin Wang

Wuhan University, China

Yulin Wang is a full professor in the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University, China.Before joining the Wuhan University, he has worked in Hi-tech IT industry, including HUAWEI© and na-tional research institute, for more than ten years. He has involved more than 15 national and international research projects. In recently 10 years, Prof. Wang has published 1 book, and 50+ journal and conference papers, including in IEEE TIP. He holds 10 authorized patents.Prof. Wang served as EiC of 2 international journals and reviewer of top IEEE and ACM journals. He also served as reviewer of Innovative talents projects and national  research funds, including National High Technology Research and Development Program of China. Prof. Wang was the external PhD advisor of Dublin City University, Ireland during 2008-2010.

Prof. Yuanzhu Chen

Queen's University, Canada

Yuanzhu Chen currently is a Professor at School of Computing, Queen's University, Canada. Prior to his appointment at Queens in 2021, he was a Professor at Department of Computer Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s, Canada from 2005, and also served as Department Head.  He was Deputy Head for Undergraduate Studies in 2012-2015, and Deputy Head for Graduate Studies in 2016 to 2019 at Memorial. He received his Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University in 2004 and B.Sc. from Peking University in 1999. Between 2004 and 2005, he was a post-doctoral researcher at Simon Fraser University. His research interests include computer networking, mobile computing, graph theory, complex networks, Web information retrieval, and evolutionary computation.
